The purpose of the Rice University MS150 team is to
- foster a general awareness throughout the Rice community and the overall Houston community on the issues that plague people living with Multiple Sclerosis;
- engage the Rice, Houston, national, and international community on issues having to do with Multiple Sclerosis
- provide opportunities for Rice students, faculty, and staff to support Multiple Sclerosis research via monetary means;
- partner with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through the BPMS150 to allocate funds directly towards Multiple Sclerosis research
- provide cycling training and comradery opportunities for the members of the MS150 Team
