TRAINING

The MS150 is a long ride that can be accomplished by people of all abilities. However, it most fun and least miserable for those that train well! To help ward off the inevitable sore butt and aching quads, we recommend you start training as soon as possible or at least sixteen weeks out if you are not an experienced cyclist. The BP MS150 site has a training plan on their website.

For more rides, check out the MS150 list of recommended rides here.

Look on our Facebook page or join our GroupMe for more information on upcoming rides.

Other than endurance on a bike, it’s also helpful to train to ride in a group and on roads with cars. We’ll be joining thousands of other cyclists on roads that are open to cars (although cars, for the most part, try to avoid long lines of thousands of cyclists). The best thing you can do is just stay aware of your surroundings because safety is always the number one priority.
